I've been studying fashion. I watch old TV and really like the 1980s, especially the early thru mid 80s. The clothes looked like fun for women and men: some glitz, big style. I wish it would be revived instead of the 70s!

Sleep Deprivation

A little while ago I watched a 60 Minutes segment on sleep deprivation. One of the many interesting things they had to say was how people that are chronically sleep deprived don't even think they are. It's sort of like drunk people thinking they are okay to drive and such.

Y'all, I'm sleep deprived.

Even though I don't feel tired or sleepy, I only sleep 5-6 hours a night. There's a shit load of problems this causes. I'd always heard of...

Gum-chewing During Sex

There are now suspicions that gum-chewing during sex is a sign of disrespect and probably of disinterest as well. This seems a problematic observation. I had a girlfriend who always read the newspaper during the act. This made me admire her multitasking skills all the more. As a nervous habit, one could tolerate gum-chewing under these circumstances, unless, in my case, the gum was Spearmint. I would appreciate the experience of others with this pressing issue.

I'm usually an early morning riser. But, lately, I've been sleeping in a little. I think the latest I ever slept was 11:00am ....several times in highschool and then once when I pulled an all nighter going on a bus to Chicago.
